About Us

Globetrotters Travel & Cruise is a family owned and operated business servicing the Toowoomba region since 2005. It originally opened as Darling Downs Travel Agency in 1949 and, while the name may have changed, we are proud to say it is one of Queensland's oldest continuously running travel agencies, having operated at this location for 75 years! We aim to provide an all-inclusive travel service to each of our customers.

Paul Apsey, an employee of Globetrotters since 2015, took over ownership in July 2020 having worked in the travel industry for over 22 years. Managing the main Toowoomba office is Benjamin Apsey, who has been with the team helping his dad since 2020.

Globetrotters Travel & Cruise is located at Shop 1, 170-172 Margaret Street, between Sofra Restaurant and Carnival Lane in the Toowoomba CBD. Easy three-hour parking is available directly behind the building between Neil and Annand Streets.
